Spacious family home near Amsterdam. Enjoy the best of both worlds, city & village life, in our 150m2 family home, set in a peaceful green village surrounded by lakes and waterways.

Welcome to our family home, where we've happily lived for over 21 years and raised our children. While we're away travelling, we'd love to share our home with guests who appreciate a warm, spacious and comfortable place to stay.

This is a real family home, not a typical holiday rental, with the occasional signs of everyday family life. It has everything you need to feel at home, with a spacious ground floor, a large private garden and plenty of room to relax. The house has three bedrooms: a master bedroom, a smaller bedroom with a pull-out bed for an occasional sixth guest, and a spacious attic bedroom with a double bed and study area. There are also another study space, a bathroom, and a washing machine and dryer.

The front garden features a large trampoline. It's an older model, but still enjoyed by small children. The garage is well stocked with bicycles and a variety of sports and outdoor equipment for guests to enjoy. You'll find 3 bicycles of different sizes (1 men's bikes, a smaller women's bike and an older but still perfectly usable e-bike), two stand-up paddleboards, tennis and padel rackets, table tennis bats, skateboard, balls, a pétanque set and skipping ropes. For quieter moments at home, you'll also find a selection of board games and puzzles in the dining room cupboard.

Our friendly family cat will also be around during your stay. He comes and goes independently through his cat flap, so all we ask is that you give him some dry food and fresh water each morning. That's all the care he needs!

Despite its peaceful village atmosphere, you'll find everything you need close by. The village has two supermarkets, local bakeries and butchers, several restaurants and pizzerias, a cosy café, and a variety of shops, including women fashion boutiques, a bicycle shop, a pharmacy and a wine and spirits shop. Perfect for enjoying village life without having to travel far for your daily needs. Situated in a peaceful, green village surrounded by lakes and waterways, the house offers the best of both worlds: beautiful countryside and easy access to city life. Amsterdam is just 10 minutes away by car or 22 minutes by train, while Utrecht is approximately 30 minutes by car or 20-30 minutes by train.

A wonderful base for families who want to explore the Netherlands while enjoying the space, comfort and tranquillity of a real home.
