Pleasant, modern, spacious and centrally located apartment with a lot of natural light and great views. Available from now, until the around February 24th, shortly after Carnaval in Rio ends. We can discuss exact start and end date, and price.I spend a lot of time abroad. During these times, it would be great to offer another friendly person the chance to enjoy my lovely apartment in Amsterdam Centre/East.You can move right into your own Amsterdam mansion, which of course comes fully furnished. You can move some things around and tweak it a bit to your preferences, so you will feel even more at home. Or just unpack your suitcase(s) and jump on the couch or on of the two super comfy double beds.There’s fast and reliable glass fibre internet, a large living room, two toilets, a spacious bathroom with a large bathtub, a lot of plants (that you need to take care of!), and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s comfortable and well isolated, with central heating.The neighbourhood is very centrally located and truly unique. There is a lot of space and it’s full of old warehouses mixed with modern architecture. The long waterfront/quay is where people run, have a bbq (or make snowmen in winter☃️), and have a dive. It’s ideally located on the same street as Central Station. Both the medieval City Centre and hip Amsterdam Oost (East) are 5 to 10 minutes by bike and any other part of the city can easily be reached. Interesting nearby places include the Marineterrein, Javastraat, Oosterpark, Nieuwmarkt, Waterlooplein and the Czaar Peterstraat, and Amsterdam’s Eastern, more quiet old city centre.It’s super near Booking com’s brand new Headquarters – which, interestingly, is designed with the main goal to reduce employee turnover. JustEat-TakeAway is a short walk away in the same street, and many other international (tech) companies such as TomTom are closeby. The Conservatorium, which is adjacent to the Central Library, is nearby too.There are both simple eateries as well as unique restaurants around the corner, V R R, Bonboon, Scheepskameel, Mediamatic, Choux, to name a few. There are 4 different supermarkets around the corner. The nearest speciality coffee can be found at gezellige Barmhartig. Cool nearby bars include Hannekes Boom and Brouwerij ’t IJ. There are a lot of great small shops with local produce and other special products like nature wine. In case you want to explore, there’s a hidden ferry nearby that brings you to hip Noord (North) in no time.I don’t care about your background, as long as you have a good heart, are friendly, and reliable. And you do need to be (willing to) be(come) is a plantmom/dad, as my babies need some water regularly. I kinda prefer people who are active and social, and don’t lock themselves up to play videogames and smoke weed all day.Small additional charge for utilities used, just so you don’t leave the heating on 24/7 and the windows open. Either way, it’s the well isolated and the sun heats the place pretty well.You’d like to move in ASAP. You can even get the keys before and drop some stuff.There is a possibility to stay here and rent just one bedroom, when I get back.Make sure your profile is complete when you reply, saves us both some time.Looking forward to meeting you!
