The area itself (de Baarsjses) is a desirable neighbourhood, set between 2 of Amsterdams largest parks; Rembrandt park (2 minutes walk) and Vondelpark (5 minute walk) and close to the ‘Overtoom’ a street where you have all the necessary shopping conveniences as well as plenty of great bars and cafes, but still quiet (unlike the city centre).

20 minute cycle to the centre (through Vondelpark)
15 minute cycle to Amsterdam Zuid (business district)
Close to the ring road, so it is easy to get in and out of Amsterdam for longer trips (driving)

The Apartment:
Renovated in Jan 2020, in the classic ‘Amsterdam-style’, it is a high ceilinged, very light and spacious apartment with 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (large and modern) and one combined living-room, breakfast area, kitchen, with a large balcony adjoining. Double-glazed windows and a new thermostat have recently been installed making it energy efficient.
The 3rd bedroom, could either act as a 3rd (v large) bedroom, or could be a separate living room / dining room.
